Our Community

Open Table MCC holds regular worship services every Sunday. We also hold other liturgical and non-liturgical services such as outreach programs, educational seminars, and community talks.

What is MCC?

Table Open for All

Love is our greatest moral value and resisting exclusion is a primary focus of our ministry. We want to continue to be the conduits of a faith where everyone is included in the family of God.

On being Queer and Christian

Open Table MCC provides a safe space of worship for people of all genders / sexualities (LGBTQ+), and even faith traditions (catholic, protestant, and others).

If you are seeking answers, or are looking for a Christian community that will accept you as you are, without any compromises, you are welcome to join Open Table MCC’s faith journey.

Holy Union (Same-Sex Wedding)

MCC, from its very beginning, has and is continously supporting marriage equality for all, regardless of sex or gender, and since 1968, has been conducting Holy Unions for same-sex couples or LGBT+ couples who wish to have a ceremonious wedding under the eyes of God.

The Rite of the Holy Union is one of the Rites of the Metropolitan Community Churches all over the world. Its essense is the vow, the pledging of deepest fidelity of each other. It is the spiritual joining of two persons regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. It is a celebration of love witness and affirmed by their friends, family, and the Church.
