For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. Indeed, the body does not consist of one member but of many.
After the secrets of the unbeliever’s heart are disclosed, that person will bow down before God and worship him, declaring, “God is really among you.” What should be done then, my friends? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn; and let one interpret. But if there is no one to interpret, let them be silent in church and speak to themselves and to God. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said. If a revelation is made to someone else sitting nearby, let the first person be silent.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 25-30
Ang Simbahan ay iisang katawan pero marami tayo teh. Bawat isa sa atin ay kasama at kabahagi at kahit madami tayo, tayo ay iisang kaawan, kasi iisa lang naman si Kristo. Tayo ay bininyagan sa iisang Diwa/Espirito at dahil dito tayo ay naging iisa. – Mga iba’t ibang kristiano, katoliko, protestante, evangelical – mga propesyonal at mga pesante – mga straight at mga LGBT – At tayong lahat ay tumungga sa iisang Diwa/Espirito. Kaya tanggapin mo ateng hindi lang ikaw ang maganda, marami tayo at lahat tayo kasama. At dahil dito, hindi dapat tayo magtarayan at magdivahan sa iisang katawan, bagkus tayo ay magmahalan bilang beshies at mamshies. Dahil kung isang mars natin ay masaktan, lahat tayo ay masasaktan kasama ni mars. At kung may nanalo na, lahat tayo ay nanalo na din at dapat maging happy together.
Ngayon mga ateng kayong lahat ay ang nag-iisang katawan ni Kristo at bawat isa ay ka-join dito. At itinalaga ng Pinakamaganda, si God, na sa simbahana ay may mga pastor, may mga actibisitang propeta, mga Teacher Ma’am & Sir, mga powerful kumilos at kumuda at meron din mga mamu na mapagkalinga at nagpapagaling. May mother butlers at CWS na nagsisilbi at nagwewelcome, at ibat ibang mga kagandahang dala at ibinibigay, may ibat ibang leaders at may mga tagalog, bisaya, Ilocano, ingles at kung ano ano pang lengwahe. May mga LCAB, May mga Ministry leaders, may mga graphic artists, may mga malaking magbigay ng offering at pledge, may mga counsellors, HIV coordinators at kung ano ano pa? Lahat ba ay pastor? Lahat ba ay LCAB? May kanya kanyang ganda at galing ngunit iisang katawan pa rin.
