Being an LGBT+ affirming church in the Philippines, Open Table MCC receives a lot of questions about our advocacy, so we decided to do a Q&A session.
We have received various questions from our social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Rev. Joseph Tiu San Jose answers questions such as: how to handle homophobic family members; how is homosexuality NOT a sin; how to have an intelligent discourse with the bible; how to respond to homophobic interpretations of the bible; and other questions about our church’s LGBT+ advocacy, sexual ethics within the church, and other hot-button issues such as divorce in the Philippines.
