We are proud to announce that MCC Quezon City is sending two delegates to the Amplify Conference this year. Our church Secretary John Paul Andaquig and Oliver Andaya, Compliance & Grievance Officer -Elect will represent the church in this conference which will be conducted from June 7-9 in Hong Kong. It brings together church and ministry leaders all over Asia to learn, network and expand their own vision of service to God.
The Amplify Conference was “born out of a call to be a blessing to the development of inclusive churches and ministries in Asia to be effective witnesses for the Gospel and meeting the needs of our communities.” This year’s international speakers include Rev. Dr. Cindi Love, Rev. Dr. Patrick Cheng, Rev. Ngeo Boon Lin among others. Rev. Ngeo Boon Lin is a member of the Asian Pacific Initiative of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (UFMCC) which oversees the MCC churches in Asia.
MCC Quezon City is grateful to the Amplify Conference 2013 organizers for providing the scholarship for our delegates’ participation.
