Rev. Joseph San Jose of Open Table Metropolitan Community Church was invited last March 5 for PUP Pride 2020, to give a talk about religion, spirituality, and sexuality.
The theme for PUP’s pride event this year is “Defying Adversity, Forwarding Advocacy”.
PUP Pride is not just about celebrations and empowerment. As part of the LGBTQ+ movement, the event aims is to attain harmony through involvement, and it urges people to give their substantial efforts so they can be heard. The goal is to be united in strengthening what the LGBTQ+ community continues to fight for through the years.
